Zed X on NRU-171V-PPC

Must _ For Demo Purpose

• 1x NRU-171V-PPC with Orin NX, M.2 2242 Nvme, and JetPack 5.1.1 installed

• 1x M12 A5 power cable with at least 60W power adapter

• 1x FAKRA cable

• 1x Stereolabs Zed X camera with camera stand

• 1x VESA mount stand

Optional _ For Development Purpose

• 1x M12 X8 Ethernet cable

• 1x M12 A8 to dual USB ports cable

Installation

• Connect Zed X to the GMSL2 port next to DC input

• Set a 100% ratio resolution for NRU-171V-PPC, and put it into 25W power mode for best performance (and without warning).

• Based on the previous article, [ZEDX], to bring up the driver support of ZED X on NRU-171V-PPC.

Additional Memo

1. Remember to add sudo jetson_clocks for better performance

2. Check if any storage or memory leakage

   1. It's recommended to disable rsyslog during the demo to prevent from increasing size of log

3. Make it auto run by Startup Applications

4. Make a shortcut to bring up the Demo

5. Add acpid to shutdown while pressing power button

6. Listen to SIGINT and SIGTERM to terminate the demo gracefully, especially with Zed SDK communication
