Installation

• Download the driver installation script [link]

• Assume you download the Quectel_NRU_JP5x.zip into ~/Downloads

# Prevent from driver confliction
sudo apt remove modemmanager

cd ~/Downloads  

unzip Quectel_NRU_JP5x.zip
# [Please ask your sales representative to get the unzip password]

cd Quctel_NRU_JP5x/
sudo ./install.sh

# Please reboot the system to complete the installation.

Run

cd ~/Downloads

Jetpack 6

In Jetpack 6, if you want to use Quectel 5G module, you need to add 2 config setting in your deconfig file, and rebuilt new Image and overlay .config in rootfs/ with new .config

Installaion

• Assume you download the quectel-v5.15-tegra/ into ~/Desktop

Using GPS of RM520N-GL

• The main GPS antenna is ANT3. ANT1 is for the aux GPS antenna.

• This module only supports passive antenna

• You will need additional AT commands to enable GPS feature, which will slow down the 5G NR performance
