Telit_LN920 & Quctel RM520N-G in JP6.0

This works for Telit_LN920 4G LTE & Quctel RM520N-G 5G modules

Please download below link and follow instruction below to solve the issue https://workdrive.zohoexternal.com/external/2fbcdbf59e17ae85e321f23621be56ae624a3419f32e987dd09dc01f9469752c copy the Image file to overwrite the one on jetson module $sudo cp Image /boot

This image modify compiled by the deconfig changed as below

• Before change (left side): CONFIG_USB_WDM=m This means the USB WDM (Wireless Device Management) driver is compiled as a module (m).

• After change (right side): CONFIG_USB_WDM=y This means the USB WDM driver is compiled directly into the kernel (y).

Installaion

• Assume you download the compress file / into ~/Desktop

Copy

nvidia@tegra-ubuntu:~/Desktop/$ cd quectel-v5.15-tegra/
nvidia@tegra-ubuntu:~/Desktop/wan-v5.15-tegra$ sudo -s 
root@tegra-ubuntu:~/Desktop/wan-v5.15-tegra$ make install

Run Module

root@tegra-ubuntu:~/Desktop/wan-v5.15-tegra$ depmod
root@tegra-ubuntu:~/Desktop/wan-v5.15-tegra$ modprobe qmi_wwan
root@tegra-ubuntu:/home/nvidia/wan-v5.15-tegra# ifconfig -a
wwan0: flags=4098<BROADCAST,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500
        ether be:98:da:c4:53:4b  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)
        RX packets 0  bytes 0 (0.0 B)
        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 0  bytes 0 (0.0 B)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0
root@tegra-ubuntu:/home/nvidia/wan-v5.15-tegra# reboot

#Enable the 4G network via GUI It sholud work after all these steps.
