Put NRU-230V-AWP into Recovery Mode
1. Prepare an x86 Host Computer for Flashing
System Requirements
Prepare a host computer that meets the following system requirements
Prepare an L4T folder with the corresponding JetPack Version
NRU-230V-AWP/NRU-240S-AWP tarball folder The tarball file include all you need Untar the the NRU-230V-AWP/NRU-240S-AWP tarball via the following command
Then you will have the L4T folder with all the files needed to reflash NRU-230V-AWP, including: a pre-built system image, device tree, kernel, modified rootfs.
2. Connect the Host computer and NRU-230V-AWP
Connect the host machine with NRU-230V-AWP/NRU-240S-AWP via a USB type A (on Host Machine) to type C (on NRU-230V-AWP/NRU-240S-AWP) cable
Connect to the USB3.2 type C connector
3. Put NRU-230V-AWP into Recovery Mode
We have designed two methods to put NRU-230V-AWP into recovery mode.
Method A: For Development (Requiring Disassembly)
Steps:
Please make sure the IGN mode is set to mode 0
Hold down the recovery button first
Press the power button with recovery button held on
Release the recovery button
From the top-view, you could find the recovery button at the corner which locates beside the 10GE Ethernet port.
Method B: For Deployment (No Disassembly Required)
The second method to enter recovery mode is by controlling the power button and the 8-48V DC IN power supply on and off.
Steps:
The IGN mode could be any mode.
Press and hold the power button before turning ON the 8-48V DC IN
Check if NRU-230V-AWP/NRU-240S-AWP put into Recovery Mode
If NRU-230V-AWP/NRU-240S-AWP is ready to be flashed, you will see AGX Orin listed as a USB device after do the command lsusb
lsusb to check if host machine connect to NRU-230V-AWP/NRU-240S-AWP On the host machine, go to the L4T folder (Linux_for_Tegra) and execute the below command to flash NRU-230V-AWP/NRU-240S-AWP.
