Verifying RTL8217 on Jetson

Testing environment

We found that the AGX Orin Dev Kit could serve as a good platform to test the compatibility of the Realtek RTL8127 with Jetson. However, the PCIe slot on the AGX Orin Dev Kit appears to require additional steps to enable power. We used an M.2 M-key to PCIe adapter for verification.

Driver Installation

## Download the latest Realtek RTL8127 Driver Tarball from Realtek's official website
## https://www.realtek.com/Download/List?cate_id=584
## Scroll down to "10G Ethernet LINUX driver r8127 for kernel up to 6.15"


## The following example in based on r8127-11.015.00.tar.bz2
cd ~/Desktop
tar xvf r8127-11.015.00.tar.bz2
cd r8127-11.015.00
sudo ./autorun.sh

## Reboot before using RTL8127
sudo reboot
