Getting Started Guide
The PCIe-NX150 Series, i.e., PCIe-NX154PoE or PCIe-NX156U3, is already flashed with the pre-built system image on Jetson Orin module and NVMe. This guide provides the essential steps to help you build the first running sample.
The guide is divided into several topics:
Overview
Develop PCIe-NX150 in the standalone mode
Develop PCIe-NX150 with a host computer
Overview

Before powering on the PCIe-NX150 series, the first thing you have to check is the 4-Pin DIP Switch.
DIP Switch #4 determines PCIe-NX150 is powered on by 2x3 wafer (12V DC input), or by the PCIe connector
DIP Switch #3 determines PCIe-NX150 booted into OS or recovery mode
DIP Switch #1 & DIP Switch #2 determine the default IP while PCIe-NX150 booted into OS
Develop PCIe-NX150 in the standalone mode
Make sure the DIP Switch #4 ON, DIP Switch #3 OFF to boot PCIe-NX150 into OS with external DC input
Remember to connect to a monitor with native DP input
An active DP to HDMI adapter is required while connecting to an HDMI monitor
Powered on PCIe-NX150 by external 12V DC input
Then you can use PCIe-NX150 as a standalone Jetson computer
Develop PCIe-NX150 with a host computer
Requirements of the host computer
PCIe slot with Gen2x1 signal
Windows or Ubuntu with Intel i225 driver support
Our testing environment is Ubuntu 20.04.06
Before accommodating PCIe-NX150 into the host computer, make sure DIP Switch #4 OFF, DIP Switch #3 OFF to power PCIe-NX150 by the PCIe connector of the host computer
By default, DIP Switch #1 OFF, DIP Switch #2 OFF lead to the network settings on the Orin NX side, with
IP: 150.150.50.50
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Network settings on the host computer
Make sure the Intel i225 on the host side has be recognized by lspci 01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Device 0d9f (rev 03)
Config the Intel i225 with
IP: 150.150.50.51
Netmask: 255.255.255.0

Then you can connect to PCIe-NX150 by ssh Account: nvidia Password: nvidia

The PCIe-NX150 also shipped with CUDA installed
Since PCIe-NX150 is a Jetson computer as a PCIe form factor, please remember to send "sudo shutdown" to PCIe-NX150 before shutting down the host computer.
