NRU Flashing Toolkit

NRU_flashing_toolkit which includes the mainstream NRU tarbals, use the tool for easy flash process

Please prepare an x86 host computer with Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04 to flash the NRU series (verified for Jetpack5.x/ Jetpack6.x)

Procedures

Step 1. Allow the app to be executed

  • It can be set either by desktop UI or using shell command.

  • Right-click the app and select "Properties", and enable "Allow executing"

Step 2. Launch the flash tool app

  • Launch a terminal window from the location where the flash tool app is stored

  • Type "./Flash-Toolkit-2.0.AppImage" in the terminal and press Enter.

Step 3. Select options in main menu

  • There are two main options: [1] Building flashing environment and [2] Refreshing the device

  • Select Option 1 and choose device type with the desired Jetpack version to start creating flashing environment

  • Upon successful completion of the flash environment setup, you can immediately begin the device flashing process. Before proceeding, ensure that the NRU device is in Recovery Mode and properly connected to the host PC.

  • If the flashing environment has already been built, users can select Option 2 to utilize the existing environment and begin the flashing process.

  • The log will be recorded in nru_flash_toolkit.log under the execution directory. If any errors or interruptions occur while running, please contact Neousys technical support by providing the log file. (tool version ≥ 2.0.4)
